Bet\u00fcl Ayd\u0131n
<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Bet\u00fcl received her BA in Philosophy with the highest GPA in the Class of \u201925 from Anadolu University. Her main research interest is the philosophy of mind. With her background in medical school, she is particularly interested in the philosophy of cognition, memory, and mind. She has also conducted research on the philosophy of dialogue\u2014first as an Erasmus Scholar at Adam Mickiewicz University, and later as a participant in the 4th World Analogy Congress. In addition, she is a professional radio DJ who enjoys playing hard rock and heavy metal music for her listeners.<\/p>

Utku Batur<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Utku received his BA in Philosophy from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University. His primary areas of interest are pragmatism, philosophy of perception and Analytic Hegelianism. He is also interested in Ancient Greek philosophy and how it relates to contemporary metaphysical discussions. He also wants to explore the ways in which analytic-continental split in philosophy can be bridged.<\/p>

Kaan received his BA degree in Philosophy from Bilkent University. His main area of interest is phenomenology, with a particular focus on the works of Edmund Husserl. In addition, he is engaged with the philosophy of mind and the philosophy of technology, exploring questions that connect consciousness, reality, and digital experience.<\/p>

Kerim received his B.A. in Philosophy with High Honors from Middle East Technical University. His primary research interests lie in the philosophy of mind, especially in its intersections with the philosophy of language and metaphysics. He is also interested in artificial intelligence, with a focus on the possibility of conscious machines.<\/p>

Tan graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Law, along with a minor certificate from Bilkent University Department of Turkish Literature. He is primarily interested in meta- and normative ethics, political philosophy and decision theory. He has so far presented his research at UNC Charlotte Philosophical Union\u2019s 7th Ethics and Applied Philosophy Graduate Conference, European Consortium for Political Research\u2019s (ECPR) 2025 Joint Sessions of Workshops, and Minho University Center for Ethics, Politics and Society\u2019s (CEPS) 15th Braga Summer School. In November 2025, he will present at METU 5th International Applied Ethics Conference.<\/p>

Asmin Kara\u00e7\u00f6p<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Asmin received her BA in Philosophy with Honors from Bilkent University. Her areas of interest lie at the intersection of political philosophy, philosophy of mind, and metaphysics. She is particularly interested in how concepts of rationality, agency, and identity shape political structures, and on how cognitive science and philosophy of language can inform democratic theory and social epistemology.<\/p>

Umay G\u00f6ll\u00fc<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Umay received her BA in Political Science and Public Administration with Honours from Bilkent University. During her undergraduate studies, her research focused on how different political systems shape patterns of statecraft and political behaviour. With a longstanding interest in philosophy, she is especially interested in writings of Hobbes, Machiavelli, and Berlin. Currently, her research interests include the ethical implications of political power and the ways in which ideological commitments shape governance in both historical and contemporary contexts.<\/p>

Emre Kur\u00e7in<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Emre graduated from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University in 2024 with a major in psychology and a minor in molecular biology and genetics. His interests in the philosophy of mind include the criterion of personal identity, functionalism, mental representations, and subjective experiences. In addition to these, he is interested in the philosophy of social sciences, analytical philosophy and humanities, orientalism and postcolonial literature, Turkish thought, cultural criticism, and analytical literary criticism. He also follows science fiction literature as a hobby.<\/p>

Orkun K\u00fcser<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Orkun received his BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research internships in plant genetics, molecular dynamics simulations, and neural diseases across various laboratories at Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University. He also completed a research internship on neural development at Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin, where he presented his findings. He is primarily interested in the philosophy of science, the philosophy of mind, biology, ethics, and the history of science.<\/p>

Sarp graduated from Ko\u00e7 University with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy, along with a track in Cognitive and Brain Sciences. He is interested in questions about how we relate to (represent, perceive, act within, etc.) the world around us; and, as a special case of this broader issue, in our urge to mistake the world for the frame through which we look at it, as highlighted in Wittgenstein\u2019s later work.<\/p>
