About<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Daniel Ferguson completed his PhD in Classics and Philosophy at Yale University. Before joining Bilkent University, he was a British Academy Newton International Fellow at King\u2019s College London. Prior to that, he held positions as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Northwestern University and as a Lecturer at Yale University. Ferguson completed his PhD in Classics and Philosophy at Yale University. Dr. Ferguson specializes in ancient Greek philosophy with a focus on Plato and Aristotle\u2019s ethics. He is especially interested in making sense of their theories of happiness, virtue, agency, and value. What on their views is good and why? How do they think one should live? According to them, what does it take to be an excellent human being? His articles have been published in prominent journals such as Journal of the History of Philosophy,<\/em> Phronesis<\/em> <\/em>and Ancient Philosophy<\/em>. Currently, Dr. Ferguson is writing a book about Aristotle\u2019s Eudemian Ethics<\/em>, a fascinating but somewhat neglected work of his, as well as some papers on various issues in Plato\u2019s Republic<\/em>.<\/p>\n
