The workshop grew out of the Franco\u2011American Descartes Seminar (2009\u20132019). The most recent edition was held in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/earlymodern.wixsite.com\/semp\/cfps\">Turin in 2026<\/a>, following earlier meetings at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uu.nl\/en\/events\/forum-descartes-at-the-utrecht-university\">Utrecht University<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.paris-iea.fr\/en\/events\/forum-descartes-2\">Paris Institute for Advanced Study<\/a>.
