Poster sergisi s\u0131ras\u0131nda, panolara as\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olan A1 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki akademik posterler kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar taraf\u0131ndan incelenecek, posterleri haz\u0131rlayan \u00f6\u011frenciler kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131larla posterleri hakk\u0131nda konu\u015fma ve geri-besleme alma f\u0131rsat\u0131 elde edeceklerdir. The conference will take place on Saturday-Sunday, April 4-5, 2020. There will be an academic poster session for high school student participants on Sunday, April 5, afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>During the poster session, the academic posters that are prepared by high school students will be hanged on the walls, like a gallery, and attendees will examine the posters. No verbal presentation is required but the students will stand next to their posters and they will have an opportunity to discuss their work with the attendees. There is no restriction on subject matter, as long as a philosophical argument is presented in the poster (mere information about a philosophical view or a philosopher is not sufficient; an evaluation, defense or objection is also required).<\/p>\n<p>Each poster presenter will receive an official certificate of participation.<\/p>\n<p>You can see the photos from last year\u2019s Bilkent undergraduate philosophy conference (including the poster session) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.phil.bilkent.edu.tr\/index.php\/photo-gallery\/undergraduate-philosophy-conference-2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Call for High School Poster Proposals<\/b><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>200-500 word description of the proposed poster via email:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:philstudentconf@bilkent.edu.tr\">philstudentconf@bilkent.edu.tr<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><i>Deadline<\/i><\/em>: March 15, 2020<\/p>\n<p><em><i>Submission Guidelines:<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Submissions and all other inquiries should be sent by e-mail to philstudentconf@bilkent.edu.tr<\/li>\n<li>Students should send a short summary of 200-500 words to be considered for the poster session. This is a description of the content of the academic poster that the student proposes.<\/li>\n<li>Please include in the body of the e-mail submission your full name, high school affiliation, the title of your poster and your contact information (such as your e-mail address).<\/li>\n<li>The submitted poster proposals and the posters can be in <strong><b>English<\/b><\/strong><strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>or in <strong><b>Turkish<\/b><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Group work is encouraged. More than one student can prepare a poster.<\/li>\n<li>The parents and teachers of the students are more than welcome to attend the poster session.<\/li>\n<li>Standard poster size for the high school poster session is A1 (841 x 594 mm).
