Sandrine Bergès recently gave the Fringe Tercentenary Lecture at the final permanent home of the Scottish Enlightenment thinker, Adam Smith. Professor Bergès’s lecture formed part of the celebrations of the 300th anniversary of Adam Smith’s birth and the annual Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
