Welcome to our new faculty

We are very happy to announce that three new faculty members have joined our department. 

Esther Goh received her PhD  from Rutgers University – New Brunswick. Her research lies at the intersection of epistemology and ethics, with a particular focus on the duties and expectations that arise within our social relationships. Her work has appeared in journals such as Synthese and Epistemology and Philosophy of Science. Find out more about Dr. Goh here.

Frederick Choo received his PhD  from Rutgers University – New Brunswick. His main research areas are ethics and the philosophy of religion, with a particular focus on theories of well-being. His work has appeared in journals such as Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Journal of Ethics and Social Philosophy, and American Philosophical Quarterly. Find out more about Dr. Choo here.

Cansu Yüksel received her PhD from King’s College London and was recently a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer at Middle East Technical University. Her research lies at the intersection of metaphysics, philosophy of language, and logic, with a particular focus on modality.
