Director of Graduate Studies Jonathan Payton has published a new article in Philosophy and Phenomenological Research. The paper, “From singular to plural. . . and beyond?,” develops a ‘one-level’ plural language which has all the benefits of higher-level ones but which avoids any commitment to the hierarchy.
